Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick was unanimously elected Chairman of the Texas Railroad Commission at the August 12 Commission meeting. Chairmen of the Commission are elected by their fellow commissioners.
Craddick was elected statewide in November 2012 to serve a six-year term as Texas Railroad Commissioner. A native of Midland, Craddick is an attorney specializing in oil and gas, water, tax issues, electric deregulation and environmental policy.
