The House Committee on Appropriations met on October 2 to hear invited testimony over agency and local response to Hurricane Harvey. Many state agency personnel and several local officials from Harris County, Fort Bend County, and Houston were invited to speak. The committee did publish a packet of materials that were provided as handouts for deliberations.
