Early this morning the committee substitute to HB 1, also known as the budget bill, was passed to third reading with 141 ayes and 5 nays. During the 17 hour debate over 400 amendments were proposed, when including those that went straight to Article XI.
A total of 213 amendments were adopted during the marathon debate – not inlcuding those that went to Article XI.
