The Senate Substitute to HB 1, the appropriations bill for 2012-2013, is on the Senate Intent Calendar but there is uncertainty as to when the bill will be heard due to lack of support to bring the bill up for debate. It takes 21 votes for the bill to be considered by the Senate. The latest report is that the bill may not be taken up in the chamber until next week.

Senate Finance Chairman Steve Ogden has also told the Finance Committee that he plans to vote out HB 4 tomorrow from committee. HB 4 is the supplemental appropriations bill.
