The Senate Committee on Higher Education to discuss performance based funding for General Academic Institutions and Health Related institutions. The committee heard testimony on formulas for calculating funding, graduation rates of at risk students and funding for research.
During opening remarks, Sen. Seliger proposed special items be considered for zero based budgeting rather than allowing them to be part of formula funding.
