The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has adopted the following rules which were published in the December 13 Texas Register:
 
16 TAC §45.121
The amendment conforms the rule to the requirements of Alcoholic Beverage Code (Code) §102.32, as modified by House Bill 2806, 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, regarding credit law, and to the requirements of Code §109.64, added by Senate Bill 652, 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, regarding industrial permittees.
 
16 TAC §45.131
The amendment conforms the rule to the requirements of Alcoholic Beverage Code (Code) §74.08, added by Senate Bill 515, 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, authorizing brewpub licensees to sell their malt beverages to retailers, and to the requirements of Code §62A.02(c), added by Senate Bill 517, 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, regarding a manufacturer's self-distribution license.
 
16 TAC §50.2
The amendment adds a definition of "commission-approved personal identification number" in connection with seller server training programs.
 
16 TAC §50.28
The amendment deletes the requirement that a seller server student be a United States citizen or be legally authorized to work in the United States and specifies the information that must be provided to the commission with a request to verify that a student has been certified.
