The Texas Education Agency has published the following letters to school administrators:
- Validations of Fiscal Data Reported by School Systems for Federal Grants (September 05, 2024) – Letter is to inform school systems that the Federal Fiscal Compliance and Reporting (FFCR) Division of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) will conduct random validations of the self-reported data submitted by school systems related to fiscal compliance for federal grants programs.
- 2024–2025 Significant Expansion of Enrollment— Open-Enrollment Charter Schools Only (September 05, 2024) – This letter describes the criteria defining significant expansion of enrollment for ESSA and IDEA-B and how open-enrollment charter schools request additional funding due to significant expansion of enrollment.
- Early Notice – Moving Leaver and Graduate Reporting from the PEIMS Fall to the PEIMS Summer and Extended Year Submissions (September 05, 2024) – The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is announcing significant changes to the process for reporting leavers and graduates in the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) for the 2025-2026 school year. These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of student data reporting.
