On June 14, the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) met to take up several agenda items. The TWDB heard updates on Texas water conditions and groundwater management in relation to desired future conditions.
The TWDB approved financial assistance totaling $19,424,567 for water and wastewater system improvement projects. Of this funding, $11,075,000 was designated for rural water projects.
The TWDB also approved changes requiring the public acknowledgement of gifts over $500, changes to the goods and services award as well as Chapter 371 and 375 of the Texas Administrative Code.
