On November 1, The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) met to take up several agenda items. The TWDB approved $2 million in financial assistance for agricultural conservation and wastewater system projects. $1 million is going to the City of Alamo for a new wastewater treatment plant and $1 million is going to the Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District for an agricultural conservation loan program.
