On June 21, 2011 a webinar was held on the findings in a report on Transportation Governance and Finance: A 50-State Review of State Legislatures and Departments of Transportation. The report is the product of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Center for Excellence in Project Finance.
The webinar gave an overview of the report which is an analysis of state transportation governance and finance which provides an overview of key issues, supplemented by detailed information for all fifty states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The report focuses on transportation finance and on the roles and relationships between the branches of state government that are most active in transportation issues.
