The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has announced that they will host a webinar on K-12 Cybersecurity Initiative Updates from 9-10a.m. CST on January 27th. The webinar will highlight resources available through the K-12 Cybersecurity Initiative.
Other updates that will be covered include:
- New services designed to enhance and further mature school system cybersecurity capabilities
- Updates to the Endpoint Detection Response process to improve visibility into actual licensing needs and promote full implementation across all in-scope devices
- Continued support from Education Service Centers and Regional Security Operations Centers
TEA invites all Superintendents, Information Technology Directors, Information Security Officers and Cybersecurity professionals across the state to attend the webinar.
