The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has released a communication detailing the process for submitting Fiscal Year 2027 Air Emissions/Inspection Fee Basis Form(s).
Sites applicable to the air inspection fee rule and/or the air emissions fee rule are required to submit completed fee basis information through the new web-based system to TCEQ by June 1, 2026.
Please send an email to airfees@tceq.texas.gov by February 27, 2026, if you need to update your mailing address or contact information.
TCEQ will email the official notification by April 2, 2026.
For FY 2027, companies are now required to submit their fee information through the web-based Air Emissions and Inspection Fee (AEIF) reporting system, available through the State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS). More information is available on TCEQ’s Annual Air Emissions and Inspection Fees webpage.
