Early voting for the March 3, 2026, Primary Election ran from February 17-27. According to VoteHub, there were roughly 1.5 million votes in the Democratic primary and 1.3 million votes in the Republican primary, however the final tally may change after all data is checked by the Secretary of State. Combined, this is 15% of the 18,657,918 total registered voters in Texas. HillCo will continue to monitor and update the totals after election day.

For comparison, the 2024 Primary Election saw 1,823,071 in person early voters, 10.15% of total registered voters. Of these totals, 1,226,310 voted in the Republican primary and 596,761 voted in the Democratic Primary.
