Governor Greg Abbott and Texas HHSC have announced that $44 million in grant funding is available to qualifying hospitals that serve rural communities via the Financial Stabilization (FS) Grant Program. To qualify for the FS Grant, a rural hospital must be identified by HHSC to be at a moderate or high risk of instability. Qualified rural hospitals have until February 5 to complete the Rural Health Financial Stabilization Grant form.
