The Texas Space Commission (TSC) has been awarded one of seven cooperative agreements nationwide under the Aerospace Skilled Technical Workforce Hubs initiative by NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement. The awardees will share $10.5 million in NASA funding.

TSC will establish and lead the Texas Space STEM Alliance (TSSA), a coordinated network that links K–12 career and technical education, community and technical colleges, higher education, regional workforce boards, and aerospace employers. The alliance’s Texas Aerospace Pathways Plus (TAP+) portal is planned to map training programs and regional gaps as well as serve as a registry of internships, apprenticeships, employment opportunities and scholarships.

The full press release from TSC can be found here.
