Texas Secretary of State Robert S. Howden has released a reminder to Texans that the deadline for voter registration is Monday, October 5, 2026, for the November 3 General Election.
To check your current registration status, update information, or find a registration application, Texans can use VoteTexas.gov. When mailing in your voter registration application, it must be postmarked on or before the registration deadline.
Early voting for the November General Election runs October 19 through October 30, with Election Day on November 3.
