Lt. Gov. Patrick stated on the Senate floor Wednesday evening that the “plan is to be out of here next Wednesday.”

The House & Senate appointed conferees this week to resolve differences between the following bills:

  • SB 2 (Perry) Disaster preparedness, response, and recovery
    • Senate Conferees: Perry (Chair), Flores, Schwertner, A Hinojosa, Blanco
    • House Conferees: King (Chair), Darby, Geren, McQueeney, Moody
  • SB 10 (Bettencourt) Calculation of the voter-approval tax rate for certain taxing units
    • Senate Conferees: Bettencourt (Chair), Nichols, Birdwell, Paxton, Hagenbuch
    • House Conferees: Meyer (Chair), Bonnen, Button, Metcalf, Munoz
