As part of an ongoing case involving the City of Laredo and the Laredo Merchants Association, Attorney General Ken Paxton has asked the Texas Supreme Court to uphold last year’s ruling by the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals that the City of Laredo’s ban on single-use plastic bags is illegal. Paxton previously submitted a brief to the Court in June of last year supporting the Appellate Court's decision. More information, including any future ruling by the Court, can be found here.
