Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced the following appointments to the Joint Interim Committee on Prescribing and Dispensing Controlled Substances:
- Sen. Charles Schwertner, R-Georgetown
- Sen. Kirk Watson, D-Austin
- Sen. Dawn Buckingham, R-Lakeway
The Joint Interim Committee on Prescribing and Dispensing Controlled Substances will conduct an interim study on the monitoring of prescription and controlled substances in this state.
