The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is holding a period of public review and comment on the Economically Distressed Areas Program (EDAP) Intended Use Plan (PDF), which includes a list of prioritized projects (PDF) requesting EDAP financial assistance. The public comment period began on August 23 and ends on September 6. Two options are available for submitting comments:
- Complete the EDAP Project Prioritization Microsoft Form
- Email comments to EDAP-IUPcomments@twdb.texas.gov
Comments received by the deadline will be considered, and any resulting changes to the Intended Use Plan will be made before presenting it for review at the December Board meeting. Following approval, the TWDB will begin the invitation process for the top-ranked projects within funding capacity.
