The Texas Education Agency has published the following letters to school administrators:
- Child Find (SPPI 11 & SPPI 12) Submission for SY 2024–2025 and State Performance Plan Indicator 14 (SPPI 14) Data Collection Open in the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) – Providing details on timelines and requirements data submission for SPPI 11, 12, and 14 in the TSDS
- 10-Day Review Window Notice for Confidential 2024 Results Driven Accountability (RDA) Reports – Notifying local educational agencies (LEAs) of the 10-business day review window to review the confidential (unmasked) 2024 Results Driven Accountability (RDA) district report, data download and significant disproportionality (SD) data in the Accountability application accessible through the Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL).
- School Health and Related Services (SHARS) Reporting Requirement – This letter describes a reporting requirement applicable to all local educational agencies (LEAs) and fiscal agents that received or administered funds awarded through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B) grant program for the 2023–2024 school year.
- Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Cycle 3 Grants Application Opens October 14, 2024 – The Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Cycle 3 is the next iteration of a universal consolidated application cycle that strategically batches grant funding opportunities for Texas school systems to support continued learning acceleration and innovation opportunities. LASO Cycle 3 will offer $160 Million in supports and services via 11 grant programs consolidated into one program application.
- CCMR Outcomes Bonus Reports Updates – Advises school districts and open-enrollment charter schools (school systems) about several data reports related to the College, Career, or Military Readiness Outcomes Bonus (CCMR OB) now available for public transparency and to keep advancing performance and student success.
- Implementation of Fentanyl-Related Legislation – Details on Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Month and Fentanyl Abuse Prevention and Drug Poisoning Awareness Education
- Purple Star Campus Designation Awardees SY 2024-25 – Notice detailing the SY 2024-25 Purple Star Campus Designation districts and charter schools.
- Texas Student Data System (TSDS) Upgrade Project – The TSDS launched API support on August 5, 2024. This notice also stresses the importance that all local educational agencies (LEAs) begin loading their data for the 2024-2025 TSDS data submissions as soon as possible.
