The next State Board of Education Hearing will be July 19, 20, 21, and 22, 2016.The Committee of the Full Board on Wednesday will hear Comments from Commissioner of Education Mike Morath and Commissioner of Higher Education Raymund A. Paredes discussing college readiness issues, including the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s 60x30TX strategic plan. They will also hear a report on the Permanent School Fund Percentage Distribution Rates under consideration for FY 2018 and 2019.
