HHSC is seeking members for the Palliative Care Interdisciplinary Advisory Council created by House Bill 1874. The council will assess the availability of patient-centered and family-focused palliative care in Texas. It will consult with and advise HHSC on matters related to the establishment, maintenance, operation and outcome evaluation of the statewide palliative care consumer and professional information and education program. Applications to serve on the council are due Oct. 16.
