Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Ida Louise "Weisie" Steen of San Antonio to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission for a term to expire Nov. 15, 2019. The commission supervises and regulates all aspects of the alcoholic beverage industry. Steen is the wife of John Steen, Jr., former Texas Secretary of State.
