Although some reports note that Jefferson County is still in the process of counting votes, it is not expected to significantly change the unofficial election night returns on the Secretary of State site. According to the site, Rep. Brandon Creighton received 45% of the vote and Rep. Steve Toth received 24% of the vote. As a result Reps. Creighton and Toth will be headed to a runoff for SD 4.
