Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) stakeholders are invited to submit initial ideas and input on the agency's fiscal year 2016-17 legislative appropriations request.
Stakeholders will be able to provide input through the DADS website beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at http://www.dads.state.tx.us/lar/index.cfm. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014. Other opportunities for stakeholders to influence the LAR process will include a public hearing in Austin as well as an additional hearing via video conference in various locations across the state. The dates and times for the public hearing and videoconference will be announced soon.
