The public comment period for rules regarding HB 5 curriculum and graduation requirements will end at the start of the January State Board of Education Meeting which is being held January 28-31. The SBOE will consider the Texas Administrative Code rules on graduation requirements on second reading for final approval at this meeting. Pending the vote, the new rules should be adopted at the January meeting.
