On May 18th the Advisory Panel on Health Care Associated Infections (HAI) and Preventable Adverse Events noted the HAI Proposed Reporting Rules were presented to the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Council on April 29th and passed without objection. They have now been sent to the Office of the General Counsel and then the rules will be sent to HHSC for Commissioner Suehs’ approval.
