On March 31st the House Appropriations Committee took up SB1, the budget bill, and voted the House Committee substitute of SB 1 out (23-2) to the full House for further deliberation.
The House Committee also took up HB 500, the supplemental appropriations bill, and voted out the bill as substituted (23-1) to the full House for further deliberation. The highlights of the committee substitute can be found on the LBB site.
It is anticipated that on April 10th the House will take up SB 1 as substituted. We will continue to monitor House calendars as they are published to confirm.
