The final draft of the Freestanding Emergency Medical Care Facility Licensing Rules will be presented to the DSHS Council on January 22, 2010, for approval to be published in the Texas Register as proposed. Once the rules are published in the Texas Register, they will be open for a 30 day comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the department during those 30 days. The Council meeting is open to the public.
