HHSC is seeking public input on its Legislative Appropriations Request for the 90th Texas Legislature, which starts in January 2027.
The deadline for comment is November 24, 2025. Comments for the 2028-2029 LAR can be submitted to CFOStakeholderFeedback@hhs.texas.gov and HHSC is asking for commentors to include the following:
- Your name or the name of your organization and a contact person.
- A clear, concise description of the recommendation.
- What need would be addressed by this recommendation.
- The expected impact or benefit to the state or the people we serve.
