The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) has adopted updates to the Texas Statistical Plan for Residential Risks and the Texas Private Passenger Automobile Statistical Plan.
These adoptions implement requirements from House Bill 2067 (89-R) regarding an insurers’ reasons for declining, canceling, or nonrenewing coverage and the number of each coverage decision.
