The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Toxicology Division has extended the public comment period by 14 days for the Systematic Review and Evidence Integration for 16 PFAS and the Draft Development Support Document for Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctane Sulfonic Acid (PFOS) and Salts Proposed DSD. The original due date of January 30, 2026 has been extended. The new due date for public comments is February 13, 2026.

Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm on February 13. Comments can be submitted electronically through email at tox@tceq.texas.gov or mailed to the following address:

  • P.O. Box 13087 Austin, TX 78711-3087
