Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced new appointments to his senior leadership team.
Rob Farquaharson will now serve as the Deputy Attorney General for Legal Strategy. Farquharson joined the Office of the Attorney General in 2023 and most recently served as Deputy Chief of the Consumer Protection Division.
Justin Gordon will now serve as Deputy Attorney General for Administration, as well as continuing in his role as General Counsel. Prior to his appointment as General Counsel in 2023, Gordon served for nine years as Chief of the Open Records Division.
Michael Cotton will now serve as the Chair of the Opinion Committee. Cotton joined the OAG in November of 2025 and previously served as Deputy Chief of the Opinion Committee.
Andrew Haim will now serve as the Deputy Chief of the Healthcare Program Enforcement Division. Haim joined the Healthcare Program Enforcement Division in August 2025 where she manages multiple high-profile cases and investigations involving Texas Medicaid fraud.
