The Texas Health and Human Services Commission has released a new organizational chart intended to streamline the executive decision making process and provide greater accountability and oversight. The chart elevates the Medical and Social Services and State Operated Facilities Divisions within the agency structure and also clarifies the Chief Deputy Executive Commissioner as second in command within the agency, among other changes.
