On Wednesday, September 12, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $738.8 million in local sales tax allocations for September, 10.5 percent more than in September 2017. These allocations are based on sales made in July by businesses that report tax monthly.
