Attorney General Ken Paxton has released a statement supporting a U.S. District Court after it issued an injunction affecting Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi to prevent enforcement of the Obama-era Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule. Paxton and a coalition of 20 states previously sought to stay enforcement of the rule pending review by the Environmental Protection Agency under the Trump Administration.
