TEA launched a NEW Reading Practices webpage that includes the information regarding the K-3 Reading Academies. This page includes information and FAQs on K-3 Reading Academies, Science of Teaching Reading Exam, and biographies for the Texas Reading Advisory committee members as well as details on authorized providers. The site also has part 1 and recently released part 2 on HB 3 in 30 on reading practices. Coming soon to the site will be more information on a phonics curriculum, highly effective teachers, and integrated reading instruments.
