Governor Greg Abbott has announced November 6, 2018 as the special election date to fill the Texas House of Representatives District 52 seat recently vacated by Representative Larry Gonzales.
Abbott has also ordered an emergency special election for Texas State Senate District 19 following the resignation of Senator Carlos Uresti. The emergency special election will be held on July 31, 2018 with early voting beginning on Monday, July 16, 2018.
