The Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) has published an audit and conducted an investigation on the following:

An OIG audit of a Texas Medicaid and CHIP dental maintenance organization found unallowable, unsupported or overstated expenses.

An inspection was conducted to determine if Texas Medicaid ensures only eligible out-of-state Texas residents receive benefits.

The OIG conducted an audit of a Texas Medicaid managed transportation organization to determine if it met contract requirements.
