The Comptroller’s published property value study (PVS) preliminary findings were updated Feb. 12, 2020. Amended preliminary findings of the PVS were also certified to the commissioner of education on Feb. 12, 2020. The deadline for a school district or eligible taxpayer to file a petition protesting the preliminary findings is 40 days from the date of amended certification to the commissioner of education. Therefore, the new deadline is Monday, March 23, 2020.
