In his second annual State of Texas Higher Education address, Commissioner Harrison Keller stated the COVID-19 pandemic has been the most significant disruption to higher education institutions since the end of the Second World War. Keller also emphasized higher education as an essential part of the economic solution for Texas and highlighted the $175 million COVID-19 financial support commitment through the Governor’s Emergency Economic Relief Fund (GEER).
