Gov. Greg Abbott has added a further six counties to the standing border security disaster declaration. Gov. Abbott issued the original proclamation on May 31st and initially included 34 counties. The list has now been modified to include the following 41 counties:

Bee, Brewster, Brooks, Colorado, Crane, Crockett, Culberson, DeWitt, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Galveston, Goliad, Gonzales, Hudspeth, Jackson, Jeff Davis, Jim Hogg, Kenedy, Kimble, Kinney, La Salle, Lavaca, Live Oak, Mason, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Midland, Pecos, Presidio, Real, Schleicher, Sutton, Terrell, Throckmorton, Uvalde, Val Verde, Webb, Zapata, and Zavala
