Committee Substitute for Senate Bill 1, the budget bill for the 2022-2023 biennium, was passed unanimously out of the House this evening after roughly 10 hours of debate. A total of 118 amendments were adopted onto SB 1, with many moving to Article XI. HillCo clients who have access to Telicon can use the service to locate which amendments were moved into Article XI or contact HillCo to confirm. SB 1 will now move back to the Senate to resolve differences between the House and Senate versions.
The House also passed the supplemental budget bill, CSHB 2, unanimously with 4 adopted amendments. CSHB 2 will now move to the Senate for further consideration.
