The Biden Administration has provided on update on Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funding to Texas, noting that the state has received $13.9 billion to date. The total amount has been split among several categories, including:

  • $10.8 billion for highways and bridges
  • $100 million for high-speed internet connections
  • $508 million for water infrastructure
  • $645 million for public transit
  • $147 million for EV chargers
  • $246 million for energy grid resiliency and weatherization
  • $345 million for airports
  • $345 million for ports and waterways
  • $811 million weather and climate mitigation of infrastructure

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar has also published infographics detailing expected federal funding via the IIJA and the American Rescue Plan Act.
