The State Energy Plan Advisory Committee has released its report to the 87th Legislature. The report was developed in response to Senate Bill 3 and includes recommendations on 1) barriers in the electricity and natural gas markets, 2) methods to improve the reliability, stability, and affordability of electric service, and 3) the electricity market structure and pricing mechanisms, including the ancillary services market and emergency response services.
