The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) will consider adopting revisions to the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards (TSWQS) (30 TAC, Chapter 307) at the September 7th, 2022 Commission Meeting. The adopted revisions are a result of a review of the TSWQS as required by the Texas Water Code, §26.023 and the federal Clean Water Act, §303(c). Staff recommendations that have been filed with the Chief Clerk but have not yet been voted on by the commissioners are available on TCEQ’s Pending Rule Adoptions webpage under Rule Project Number 2020-014-307-OW (Executive Summary PDF, Chapter 307 Rule Project PDF).
