TEA has announced that Supplemental Special Education Services (SESS) will now be known as Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES). Eligibility criteria and functions of PDSES remain the same and if students already received an SSES grant in the past, they will not be eligible for a PDSES grant in the future. The application for the PDSES program is currently closed and will open for the 2024-2025 school year on February 3, 2025.
