Governor Abbott has issued an executive order directing the Texas DPS to target and arrest any criminals executing CCP influence operations to forcibly return dissidents to China. As part of the executive order, DPS is additionally directed to partner with local and federal law enforcement to assess incidents and develop policy recommendation to counter threats, among other directives.
