HillCo Partners notified you previously that District Judge Alan Albright, Western District of Texas, Austin, enjoined the state from implementing any aspect of HB 900 — a new state law that was to go into effect Sept. 1 limiting library content deemed sexually relevant and sexually explicit and asking book vendors to rate the materials sold to schools. The state notified the court that it plans to appeal the injunction. A written order was filed yesterday and can be read in its entirety here.
